CV Data & AI Processing Policy

What we receive

• The file you upload (PDF and DOCX, maximum 5 MB) and the text extracted from it.
• The target role or job description you optionally provide for context.
• The account the upload belongs to.

How your CV is processed

The extracted text is sent to an AI model to generate structured written feedback on clarity, structure, relevance, achievements, keywords, formatting and role alignment.

• AI provider: OpenAI
• Used for model training: No. Uploaded documents are not sold, publicly shared, or used to train public AI models.
• Sold or shared publicly: Never.
• Processing time: Usually under 60 seconds

Storage and retention

• Your CV text is processed to generate feedback and stored against your account so you can revisit your report.
• Automatic deletion: 90 days after upload
• Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with access restricted to the application and encrypted in transit.

Who can access your document

Support staff can only access your uploaded document if you explicitly request help with your CV report. We do not review uploads for any other purpose.

Cross-border processing

Our infrastructure and AI providers operate outside your country of residence, so your CV text may be processed internationally. By uploading a document you consent to that transfer.

Deleting your data

• Delete an individual CV report from your dashboard at any time.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated documents by emailing hello@remotereadyai.com. We confirm completion in writing.

Limitations of AI feedback

AI-generated feedback may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review all suggestions before using them in a professional document or application.

An applicant tracking system score is an estimate of formatting and keyword compatibility. It is not a prediction of whether you will be shortlisted, and it does not guarantee any outcome.
