Who we are

Remote Ready AI is operated by Remote Ready AI, registered in Kenya. Registered address: Nairobi, Kenya. Privacy contact: hello@remotereadyai.com.

Information we collect

• Account information — your name, email address and password (stored hashed, never in plain text).
• Assessment answers — the responses you submit to the readiness assessment, used to generate your plan.
• Uploaded CV data — the document you upload and the text extracted from it. Covered in detail in our CV Data & AI Processing Policy.
• Learning progress — modules started and completed, video positions, checklist state, saved applications.
• Payment data — handled by our payment provider Pesapal. We store an order reference, amount, status and the contact details you enter at checkout. We never receive or store full card numbers.
• Usage data — pages viewed, buttons clicked, referring site, an anonymous session identifier, and approximate country derived from your IP address.

Why we use it

• To provide the lessons, tools, plan and dashboard you signed up for.
• To process payments and unlock the content you purchased.
• To respond to support, refund and privacy requests.
• To measure which parts of the product work, in aggregate.
• To meet legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with employers or recruiters.

Third parties that process data for us

• Hosting and database — managed cloud infrastructure storing your account, progress and reports.
• Pesapal — payment processing (M-Pesa, Visa, Mastercard).
• AI provider — OpenAI, used to generate CV and interview feedback.
• Analytics and advertising — loaded only where you have consented.

Cross-border processing

Our providers operate internationally, so your data may be stored or processed outside your country of residence under contractual safeguards with those providers.

How long we keep it

• Account and progress data: for as long as your account exists.
• Uploaded CV data: 90 days after upload.
• Payment records: as required by applicable accounting and tax law.
• Usage analytics: retained in aggregate form.

Your rights

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information from your dashboard or by contacting us.
• Delete your account and associated data.
• Withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time.
• Object to processing or request that we restrict it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by row-level security rules so you can only read your own records, and administrative access is limited to authorised staff. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data we will notify you and the relevant authority as required.

Children

Remote Ready AI is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

We update this page when our practices change and revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes are communicated by email to registered learners.
